Our accommodation program was established in 2019 for young people aged 13-21 years.
Our main residence, located in Toowoomba provides accommodation & wrap around support for young people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, having a hard time in life or in need of crisis accommodation.
Residents are supervised and supported by youth workers & mentors to learn life skills, engage in employment and/or training and prepare for independent living.
As a part of our accommodation services, Emerge provides a night to night emergency bed in our rainbow room; a crisis bed to help young people be safe and off the streets on any given night.
The rainbow room operates as a “first in first served” bedroom on a night-to-night basis, checkout is at 8am the following morning with follow-up support to address housing issues.
